We aim to continue to provide innovative products to our customers at the best-possible prices to allow sportsmen and their families to ward off the elements during each and every outing.The Product Development Intern will be responsible for assisting the product development team in apparel tech pack development and maintenance, fit reviews & sample tracking, packaging creation and maintenance, trim development, as well as assist with design on new apparel projects. This summer internship will go from late May to late August.ResponsibilitiesApparel Tech Pack Development and MaintenanceCreate, maintain, and update apparel tech packs including technical sketches, BOM, measurements, pattern and sewing construction details.Clearly communicate apparel tech pack details to all parties involved in development in a timely manner.Conduct fit session and clearly communicate fit, construction, and trim detail changes to all parties involved in collaboration with Product Development Manager and Designer, review pre-production samples before approval for production.Design, Development and Trend Forecasting - Coordinate w Apparel Design TeamResearch market trends and innovations in fabric technology, styling, and construction methods to ensure program is aligned with set market objectives.Experience & SkillsKnowledge of Cold Weather Insulated Outerwear preferred.Working knowledge of patternmaking, grading, textiles, and textile performance.Desired Computer Skills:Proficiency in Adobe: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.Proficiency in Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency; strong sense of time awareness.Ability to produce computer-generated technical sketches & graphics.Team-oriented, entrepreneurial, proactive attitude.
