Core focus areas of product management include, but are not limited to, product positioning, market strategies, product planning and line up, pricing and channel management, customer relationships, P&L forecasting, and key performance metric attainment.Essential Job ResponsibilitiesBe the segment expert in the category for industry trends, regulatory issues, competition, pricing, and other market intelligence analysis, and share consumer and buyer insights.Achieve targeted revenue and net profit.Forecast accurately and take necessary actions to meet aged inventory targets.Coordinate product planning across the matrix with R&D, design, and quality, identify opportunities for potential new product development, develop local line-up logic, product positioning, and price strategies.Support key account management and sales Rep management in product sell-in, assist in developing channel and flooring strategy for new product launches, prepare for product line reviews, and drive initiatives to obtain sell-through.Manage the new product launch process, drive the marketing brief for features & benefit communication, and work closely with suppliers and the marketing organization to ensure readiness to launch all supporting assets, including digital, prepare product materials to support the field training teams.Manage product lifecycle by driving sell-through, managing promotional budget, improving cost, and managing end-of-life and transitions.Own category product marketing for sales and distributor teams with technical information, support launch efforts for future product plans.Coordinate communication, strategy development, and execution with HQ and factories.Other Duties as Assigned.Required QualificationsBachelors degree in Marketing or related discipline5 years in Product Marketing in Home appliance or consumer electronics industry.Financial Planning and Strategy, Marketing Concepts, Positioning, Territory Management, Sales Planning, Competitive Analysis, Understanding the Customer, Product Development, Client Relationships, Creative ServicesMidea America Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
