JOB DESCRIPTIONYour responsibilities will include maintaining winery equipment, wastewater treatment and freshwater delivery systems, general repairs and preventative maintenance schedules, and special project supervision. This is a hands-on position that requires prior facility maintenance expertise.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Conducts andor oversees maintenance of electrical, electronic, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic machinery and equipment including our wastewater systems, glycol compressors, air conditioning and heating systems, fruit processing equipment and forklifts.Provides technical and specialty expertise in the installation, maintenance, and repair of bottling line equipment. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production stall and modify new and used equipment, fabricate and machine parts as necessary.Obtains quotes and cost estimates on construction projects; compares bids and makes recommendations to management. Coordinates construction activities to ensure attainment of budget and schedule objectives.Responsible for testing and maintaining process wastewater and freshwater systems.Is the point of contact for all vendors related to site vestigates and evaluates new materials, systems, and equipment that may benefit the company in its facilities.Ensures efficient utilization of all winery equipment.Ensures the winery is in compliance with all federal, state and Napa County permits and regulations for construction, mechanical, and safety standards.Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory considerations.
