The company's continued focus on career development, well-being, and recognitionawards are a few reasons tenured employees highlight as reasons they have stuck around so long.The Sr PM will be joining a well established team yet play an integral part in the leadership of a key project while aiding in the growth of their Life Sciences division.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Preconstruction team on preparation of the budget and scheduleParticipate in all Bidding and Contracting ProceduresManage subcontractor and bid processManage contract descoping and establishing scope of work for all tradesWork with subcontractors and vendors to enhance the value of construction while identifying opportunities to reduce costsWork with contractors to develop and implement a mobilization plan prior to the arrival of labor and materials on the jobsiteWork with contractors to establish and maintain a safe working environment on the jobsiteEstablish project controlsKeep Project Director apprised of the status of the budget and schedule in a timely mannerMaintain project recordsSchedule and observe all inspections, tests, commissioning, validating, and certification proceduresExperienceMinimum 10 years of prior experience managing the construction of laboratories including R&D or process development in the NYNJ areaFamiliar with construction Accounting principles, job cost controls, and management systems in addition to maintaining detailed Project Controls and recordsExperience constructing clean environmentsStrong knowledge of commissioning and validation of Lab facilitiesKnowledge of isolating and protecting areas from new construction activitiesExperience with GMP contracts and lump sum contractsAbility to work independently while maintaining strong communication with leadership teamsHighly collaborative with a dedicated commitment to providing superior client serviceDemonstrated ability to manage team and project meetings OfferCompetitive base salary from $200k to $240k+Strong performance bonuses401k w company match, Health BenefitsContinued growth and development opportunitiesFlexible work environment
