Our Client in the Anderson (IN) area is actively seeking a financial controller to join their organization and lead their financial suite. The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and success. This role requires a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.ResponsibilitiesFinancial Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth and successand analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statementstimely and accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholdersand maintain internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial dataregular reviews and audits to identify and rectify any discrepanciesand enforce accounting policies to maintain consistency and compliancewith management to develop annual budgets and financial forecastsbudgetary performance and provide variance analysisadjustments to ensure financial goals are metand oversee cash flow, ensuring adequate funds are available for daily operationsstrategies to optimize cash resources and investmentsfinancial analysis to support strategic decision-makinginsights into financial trends, performance metrics, and key performance indicatorsfinancial data to senior management in a clear and understandable mannercompliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax lawsfinancial technology and systems to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and improve financial reporting and analysisQualificationsof 5 years of experience in financial management or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory roleknowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulationsknowledge, CPA preferredin financial modeling, forecasting, and analysisSpecial Skills RequiredStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent leadership abilities and team management experience.Robust communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.Experience with ERP systems and financial modeling tools, including Quick Books and, possibly, SAP Business OneStrong computer skills are required. Must be proficient in all Microsoft suite applications and, specifically, Excel and Retail Pro POS systems, Must be able to learn, and will be required to use, company ERP and CRM systems.
