This position is located in SOUTH TEXAS.Job Summary:The Automation Specialist will provide automation and programming expertise for oil and gas technology focused in the South Texas region and some travel required throughout the U.S. delivering support of new products, technologies, and automation projects. The Automation Specialist will provide both day-to-day support and preventative maintenance to critical equipment utilized at various field locations including well sites, compressor stations, and tank batteries. Exposure to conditions, such as extreme heat or cold is likely. Incumbents in this position must be able to operate company vehicles and equipment physically and legally. Employees must be able to perform work which requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, heavy lifting, and climbing, including steps and vertical ladders. Personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to head protection, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety shoes and flame-resistant clothing is required. Safety rules including OSHA requirements are strictly enforced.
