Our Robert Half client company is a global leader in automotive components manufacturing & distribution. With a strong presence in North America and a commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Controller (Finance Manager) to oversee all financial operations at our operational site in the Southwest Side of Indianapolis.Job Summary:As the Site Controller, you will be responsible for leading and managing all financial aspects of our North American operational site in Indianapolis, ensuring compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards. Reporting directly to the CFO in Europe, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the financial success of the site, making strategic recommendations, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data.Key Responsibilities:Financial Reporting: Prepare and oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, budget reports, and financial analysis to support informed decision-making.Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to develop and manage the annual budget, as well as periodic forecasting, to optimize resource allocation and cost control.Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and risks, and provide recommendations to senior management to improve financial pliance: Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, as well as corporate financial policies and ternal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and financial integrity.Cost Management: Monitor operational expenses and work with department heads to identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, including optimizing working capital, ensuring adequate funding for operations, and forecasting cash needs.Audit and Tax: Coordinate and facilitate internal and external audits, and work with tax authorities to ensure compliance and minimize tax liabilities.Financial Strategy: Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies that support the site's growth and profitability.Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.Ad Hoc Projects: Participate in special financial projects as needed to address specific challenges or opportunities.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is a plus.Proven experience in a financial leadership role, ideally in a manufacturing or operational -depth knowledge of financial and accounting principles, including IFRS and US GAAP.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use financial data to drive strategic decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.Experience with ERP systems and financial software.Strong leadership and team management skills.Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Knowledge of tax regulations and international financial reporting standards is a plus.
