Job Description:

The Resource is seeking a skilled ProgrammerDatabase Administrator for our client, a commercial printing company, located in the Greensboro, NC area. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity that offers a salary range of $70,000-$85,000 per year. The ProgrammerDatabase Administrator will be responsible for providing database management and programming support to the organization. Duties will include designing and developing the database architecture, optimizing database performance, ensuring data security, and collaborating with other IT professionals to integrate systems. Ideal candidates for this role should have a background in computer science or computer programming, along with advanced knowledge of operating systems and experience in database administration. Location: Greensboro, NC area (100% onsite)Salary Range: $70,000-$85,000year Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain databases to support business operations and application development.Write efficient, scalable, and maintainable code in various programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C++.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and implement database and software solutions.Support the ERP software, including configuring modules, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing performance.Write reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, Telerik, or other reporting tools to extract and analyze data for business insights.Work help desk tickets, providing timely resolutions and exceptional customer service.Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and database tuning.Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.Troubleshoot and resolve database and software issues in a timely manner.Document database schemas, software architectures, and development processes.Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in database management and software development.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, or a related field.End user-oriented with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.Expert IT skills and advanced knowledge of operating systems.Strong aptitude for math and analytical problem-solving skills.Experience with programming languages such as Java, C++, SQL, C#, and HTML.Aptitude for learning new technology and adapting to changing environments.Deadline-driven with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.Superior communication skills, both verbal and written.Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.Must be able to adhere to stringent security and safety rules
