Ormat Energy Storage is moving even faster & we're looking for a skilled and multifaceted accounting specialist!BUT FIRST, BENEFITS!Competitive Health Plan - Medical PPO Network, Dental, & Vision!Up to 6% 401(k) match, after just 60 days!Generous PTO and Sick Time11 Paid HolidaysCareer Development OpportunitiesEmployer Paid Short & Long Term DisabilitySupplemental Benefit OptionsTuition ReimbursementThe position is located onsite Monday-Friday in Center City!POSITION SUMMARYThis position is responsible for supporting day-to-day office functions while utilizing the most efficient methods ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSMaintain the annual budget spreadsheets for each operating facility, including, but not limited to gathering data from relevant teams and preparing monthly budget variance reports for each group within Operations.Review and update budgetary reports and weeklymonthly reporting.Responsible for understanding the monthly accrual process and ensuring accuracy.Supporting all administrative needs for the operational sites.Responsible for accurate and timely input of purchase orders and invoices into Purchasing System for various tasks (SAP).Responsible for ensuring that purchase orders have received proper approval(s).Responsible for new vendor set up including obtaining and verifying vendor insurance voice and cost management.Track and process company credit cards.Assist with travel arrangements for department employees when needed.Work with other members of the Operations Team independently on a range of complex administrative and analytical projects and municate effectively on issues and recommend process improvements.Maintains SOX controls as stated in internal operating procedures.OTHER RESPONSIBILITIESKeep work area neat and orderlyComfortable working both independently and as a part of a dynamic teamEffectively interact with all levels of employeesDevelop and maintain business relationships with vendorsPerforms other related duties and projects as assigned by managementEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIREDMust be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and use of the Internet.Proficient ERP experience preferred; SAP , Oracle, Concur.Ability to prioritize and plan work activities so time is used efficiently and effectively.Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality performance.Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner to meet internal deadlines.Candidate must possess capability to manage large volume of data.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSThe ability to work at a computer, and computer monitor, and use repetitive motion for long periods of time.The ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.This position requires sitting 80% of the time and standing and walking 20% of the time.
