Job Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Material Handler at Yunker Industries warehouse and distribution center located in New Berlin, WI. The Material Handler will be responsible for shipping and receiving, unloading, material handling, inventory control, and packing. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure accurate and efficient movement of materials within the warehouse.Essential ResponsibilitiesMaintain inventory by identifying, labeling and ensuring items are properly storedMaintain correct status and locations within ERP systemPrepare jobs by picking and pulling itemscomponents from inventory and delivering to operations teamPrepare finished goods by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing productLoad & Unload trucksAssist operations with assembly projectsQualificationsShipping & Receiving, Unloading, and Material Handling skillsExperience and knowledge in inventory controlPacking skillsAbility to lift and move heavy objectsAttention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillmentExperience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipmentComputer skills for inventory trackingExcellent organization and time management skillsPrior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is a plus
