We are a lifestyle employer, providing flexibility, great pay, and strong benefits allowing you to live your best life at and away from work.About the positionAs a Senior Project Manager- Fire Alarm, you will provide overall administrative and technical direction for large construction and fire alarm projects. You will provide technical and engineering support as required by the projects needed.Senior Project Managers play a key role in having overall bottom- line responsibility for profit and loss, and consequently carry the authority appropriately.Day in the lifeOversee total construction and design effort (if applicable) to ensure projects are in accordance with design, National Electric Code, budget, and schedule.Extensive understanding and knowledge of various LV Systems such as fire alarm, lifesafety, communications (2-way, ERRCS, etc.) and controls for the built environment.Familiarity with working with applicable AHJ representative, coordinating the city permit process (acquisition and sign-off), and ability to ensure that all projects meet the most current applicable compliancy for that specific project.Expertise in the various systems andor vendors used for fire & lifesafety (e.g. Notifier, Siemens, Honeywell, Edwards, JCI, Potter, etc.)Function as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including, but not limited to: General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen and union officials.Authorize andor approve all project staff transactions including choice of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages.Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions.Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals.Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals, sending invoices, and change order requests.Assists in the implementationinterpretation of safety programs and ensures that all OSHA requirements are met.Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards, with specific emphasis on NFPA, NEC & Building Codes. "‹Ensure that all company client and project policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to and interpret the policies.Ensure the maintenance of all official project documentation and logs.Provide direction to planning, scheduling and engineering functions.Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects.Minimum QualificationsBS in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or IBEW Apprentice Training Certificate or equivalent in job experience.Superior communication skills, both written and verbal.Outstanding interpersonal and team leadership skills.Knowledge of National Electrical CodeIBC and NFPA-72Must possess a strong attention to detail and ensure maximum quality of work throughout the lifecycle of the project.Experience with Accubid a plus.Experience with Bluebeam Revu a plus.Ability to travel (regionally and nationally) to project sites as needed.ArchKey Solutions is an Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity Employer: MWVetsDisabilities.Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is an important aspect of our culture.Every person is welcomed ● Every person is included ● Every person is valued
