Obermeyer Wood Investment Counsel, LLLP is seeking a full-time Trading & Portfolio Administration Associate to support its investment team and clients. This person will play a crucial role in supporting our investment team by executing trades and ensuring the smooth administration of client portfolios. Responsibilities Trading:Support the lead trader in implementing investment strategies.Maintain investment strategies by trading across various asset classes.Monitor market activity and identify potential trading opportunities.Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and best practices. Portfolio Administration:Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio records and monitor account activity.Reconcile trades across platforms and compile insights to guide decision-making.Design and prepare regular financial reports on portfolio performance and holdings.Support the technology team in automating processes and auditing data.QualificationsOne or more years of relevant experience (including internships) in wealth management, financial planning, or finance-related industries (other experience also considered, as applicable).Proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis tools, and financial custodial platforms (Excel, Bloomberg, Salesforce, Charles Schwab, Fidelity).Strong project management and organizational abilities, proficiency at prioritization, the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines.Strong understanding of investment principles and financial markets.Self-starter who communicates effectively and persuasively.Ability to work effectively on a team and independently.Attractive compensation (est. $60-90K base salary) and benefits (performance-based bonus, contribution to retirement account, healthcare coverage, continued learning reimbursement) are offered based on experience.Location is in-person Monday through Friday in Denver.
