Job Description:

About the position:Reporting to the Senior Director of Information Technology, the Systems Administrator will primarily be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of server hardware and software. This position will be responsible for managing our On Premise and Cloud server environments.Responsibilities will include:Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system hardware and software issuesResponsible for installationdeploymentupgradeadministration of VMware Windows server environmentProvide administration and support for MS Exchange, Active Directory, SCCM, O365 and other toolsManage VMware vCenter VCSA and physical ESXi hostsManage SAN including storage provisioning and managementResponsible for server backuprestore procedures utilizing VEEAM Backup and RecoveryAccurately forecast demand for storage, computing and network capacity, as well as proactively assist in the procurement of hardware and management toolsProactively apply fixes and manage infrastructure support issues, avoiding impact to daily operational processing and developmentImplement information security policies and procedures for the organization and regularly deploy system security patches to environmentAnalyze business and technical requirements to determine system design, potential issues, and related cost for each project requestParticipate in the development of architectural strategy, including technology standardization, rationalization and modernizationQualifications:Ability to lead and mentor colleagues and work in a team environmentAbility to multi-task multiple projects simultaneously as well as work in a customer-focused environmentStrong written and oral communication skillsPreferencesFamiliarity with Cisco UCS Blade server infrastructure, Fibre channel SANs and HPE Nimble StorageExperience with VEEAM Backup and RecoveryExperience managing Windows File Servers and DFSFamiliarity with load balancers (Citrix NetScaler)Experience supporting cloud services (Azure, AWS) a plusExperience with networking and zone based firewall administration a plus
