They operate out of Lenox Hill Hospital, which is affiliated with Northwell Health. Endometriosis is a subspeciality within the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology (OBGYN). We focus on providing the highest quality surgical care within the field. We are looking for a physician assistant to join our team who shares our vision for reproductive health.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant ProgramCurrently licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of New York State.Board certification through NCCPABLSACLS certification1-2 years experience in a surgical field or in OBGYN preferredRoles & Responsibilities:Practice within the scope of designated privilegesProvide direct care to individuals and familiesPerform diagnostic evaluations (including pelvic exams, gynecologic ultrasounds) and make appropriate assessmentsPerform basic wound managementPerform appropriate documentation of patient careDevelop a care plans in collaboration with the physician which include sending medications, prior authorizations, referrals, health care guidance & counselingReviewing results and surgical pathologyUnderstand and participate in all aspects of perioperative patient care and counseling, which includes weekend rounding responsibilities and triaging call serviceHave prior experience with or be willing to learn operating room skills to assist in surgery using traditional laparoscopy and the Da Vinci Robotic pensation:Minimal starting base salary is $100,000, excluding bonus compensation. depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, hospital need.
