Job Description:

A reputable and global asset management firm is seeking additional counsel to their legal department. The position would provide legal support to to business partners on a broad range of areas and work closely alongside the firm's General Counsel. Ideal candidates have working experience with the '40 Act, mutual funds, and ETFs. ResponsibilitiesAttend and record minutes from meetings of the Board of TrusteesAssist with the firm's annual 15(c) process for the firms mutual funds and ETFs Review and support the preparation of documents for the firm's mutual funds and ETFs, including drafting new disclosure and corroborating with outside legal counsel Advising firm on regulatory and business change initiatives Qualifications2+ Years of experience within law firm or financial services company Working experience with the Investment Company Act of 1940Admission to one State BarThis opportunity would provide an opportunity for mentorship at one of the most established global asset management groups.
