As a Senior Building Envelope Consultant, you will be helping manage a team of architects and engineers and be a part of training and developing, business development and client management. You'll be involved in a dynamic portfolio of projects of all scope and scale. From low-income housing to luxury towers, land-marked buildings to iconic architecture, our team tackles restoration and historic preservation challenges through all phases on the project; from planning to construction administration.My client is driven by the most effective solutions and new innovative technologies, The team leverages the latest technology to boost every aspect of our design and project delivery - from 3D printers that revolutionize constructability, to doing inspections using drones!They have an extremely diverse culture and of which, 50% of their employees are women! There are also many ways to be incentivized and earn bonuses with a 10% minimum bonus, as well as 5 other ways to earn one.This client is even one of the fastest growing employee owned companies worldwide and opportunities for sharesownership.Responsibilities:Oversee multiple major projects including Historic Preservation and Landmark projectsManage staff organization and planningProject Management of faí§ade, plaza, roof and garage restoration projectsManage building envelope inspection and restoration designBuilding inspections from groundroofliftssupported & suspended scaffoldingDesign and support for architectural design and real estate development projectsPreparing plans, details, and specificationsCoordinate work for Landmark Preservation requirementsPerform contractor bid walkthroughs and reviewsReview payment applications, change orders and project schedulesProspect new business and develop existing relationshipsTrain others and oversee their workScoping and timestaff utilization estimation for proposalsRequirements:6+ years of relevant experienceBachelor's degree in Architecture required, Master's preferredRAPE is requiredKnowledge of AutoCAD and ExcelExtreme attention to detail with strong written and communication skillsBenefits:Health, vision and dental plans available401k contributionBonus scheme and ownershipTravel expenses paid
