Java Cloud Developer:- WMS Modernization EXPFramingham MA ( onsite role from Day 1)Long term Our Client is modernizing its Warehouse Management System. Moving away from legacy WM on AS400 to Cloud based SaaS solution. The position requires a person to migrate shipping labels and packing slips to the new solution.Primary DutiesResponsibilities Understand and train on the new warehouse management systems (WMS) product from a technical and functional perspective.Lead and communicate with all levels of the organization to drive technical solutions.Write utility programs or apps in open stack to support any adhoc development needs.Document key pieces of the process of migration.Essential Skills RequiredBS in Computer Science or equivalent knowledge.7-10 Years of experience in OpenStack application development.Strong experience in Java, Spring boot applications and micro services. REStful APIs with JSON. Working experience with any SQL Databases like MySQL, Postgres, MS-SQL etc.Ability to integrate all types of applications with the new WMS, using diverse communication protocols like, MQ, SFTP, TCPIP (socket).Ability to understand complex concepts of warehouse management systemsInvolved in a complete lifecycle of a migrationmodernization project.Excellent communication skills.Knowledge of docker containers and Kubernetes.Exposure to Azure cloud components like AKS &or Google Cloud.Ability to work in a dynamic environment.Preferred to have SkillsExperience in creating shipping labels thru MarkMagic.Experience with Jasper reports.Working experience on MQ based integration. Google pub sub MQs.Working experience in Supply Chain domain is a plus.
