In this pivotal role, you will oversee the continual enhancement and maintenance of employee benefits, training, compliance, and retention processes. Policy and ProceduresPerformance management:Conduct employee reviews and maintain records.Facilitate employee development initiatives.Implement employee change management processes.Develop strategies for employee retention.Trainings and Compliance:Coordinate required trainings, including sexual harassment prevention.Assign and track regular training for all anize managerdirector level training.Safety Records:Manage safety training resources and maintain records.Handle incidentinjury reports.Ensure compliance with worker's compensation reporting requirements.Harassment or Employment Claims Processes:Manage complaints through established processes.Coordinate executive team involvement for escalated HR issues.Maintain records of complaints and resolutions.2. Hiring Counts and BudgetsHeadcount planning and analysis:Establish salary bands and review processes.Manage hiring budgets effectively.Conduct budget reviews as necessary.Monitor employee payroll and revenue ratios.3. Benefits Management and Administration:Vendor and hands on management for employment benefits.Facilitate benefits enrollment and maintenance processes.Address employee requests and general inquiries regarding benefits.Key Competencies:Successful experience as a highly engaged HR professional.Strong investigative and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.Successful experience exercising Thought Leadership with peers and C-suite Leaders.Strong communication skills with positive experience relating to employees at all levels in the organization.Strong demonstrated experience developing and executing a strategic plan, both short and long term.Demonstrated success effectively organizing and managing multiple competing priorities & activities.Ability to effectively prepare and present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, and executives.Excellent customer service and partnership skills and maintaining a professional demeanor to always interface effectively with all internal and external customers.Creative and able to present various solutions when issues emerge.Demonstrated experience following through on open issues, ensuring appropriate closureto issues, and effective communication with all parties.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Effective presentation plex problem solving - identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.Demonstrated success in defining problems, interviewing parties, collecting data, establishing facts to draw valid conclusions, and planningaligning on appropriate next steps.Ability to work under pressure with time constraints.Ability to identify HR department infrastructure gaps and recognize compliance needs or deficiencies.Ability to build and implement HR department policies infrastructure as needed.Position Requirements:A bachelor's degree, MBA, Master of Science in Human Resources, or 7+ years of equivalent work experience.Must have extensive experience as an HR Director (construction industry experience preferred).Broad knowledge and experience in areas such as employment law, compensation, organizational planning, employee relations, safety, and training and development.Proficient in human resource management, such as compensation and benefits, performance management, talent management, and employee relations.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.Expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and One Note) for efficient communication documentation, and data management.Skilled in analyzing HR data using tools like Excel, SQL, or specialized HR analytics software.Proficient in creating comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualizations to present HR metrics, trends, and workforce analytics.Familiarity with payroll software and understanding of accounting principles related to HR functions (HCSS, Spectrum, and Paylocity experience is a plus).Proven capability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities with precision and efficiency.Experienced in combining sharp business insights with a deep understanding of the human aspect, all guided by unwavering ethical standards.
