PROJECT EXPEDITORReports to Baton Rouge Branch Operations ManagerOperating since 1955, Moody Price LLC is one of the largest providers of instrumentation, filtration, measurement & control, and high-pressure products in the United States. We are currently seeking an EXPEDITOR for our location in Baton Rouge, LA.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Expeditor is to collect information regarding open purchase orders and distribute delivery data amongst the company. This role is critical for the company's planning and customer collaboration. 1.    Access to P21 system for all open orders for Baton Rouge branch location.2.    Provide support to Inside Sales staff.3.    Look for past due and upcoming orders and update the dates accordingly in P21 system. Expeditor responsible for notifying inside sales personnel of any changes.4.    Obtain proof of delivery from vendors. Expeditor to send signed packing slips to customers.5.    Assist in product returns.6.    Assist Corporate Purchasing Department.7.    Other duties as needed or requested. QUALIFICATIONSSKILLS: 1.    Associate Degree in Business preferred but not required. 2.    Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. 3.    Ability to work weeks in excess of 40 hours when the workload requires it.4.    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.   PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
