Position: Benefits Administration AssistantLocation: onsite San Antonio, TXDuration: 6-month contract (extensionspermanent possible)Pay Rate: $18-21hour (depending on experience)Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30AM-5:30PM with flexibility on timesMust Haves:High school diploma or equivalent1-2 Years of experience with benefits processes; leave of absences, revising drafting benefits profiles & benefits supportKnowledge of Department of Labor Laws & RegulationsProficient in Microsoft Office Plusses:Bachelor's degree in business, Human Resources, or similarExperience with UKG benefits softwareExperience with ADA & FMLA regulations Day-to-Day:An employer in the San Antonio, TX area is seeking a Benefits Administration Assistant to support their Total Rewards Department. This role will assist the team on administrative tasks and drafting employee benefits profiles. They will also coordinate benefits for employees and answer inquiries as needed relating to medical plan procedures. The Benefits Administrator Assistant provides support for all benefit plans the employer administers which supports employee needs and assists with answering support questions about coverage and eligibility.IG Consultants: While on contract, you will be an Insight Global employee working for a particular companyend client on W2.Pay Day: You will be paid out each Friday and one week in arrears. This means you will receive payment for this week's hours next Friday. HolidaysTime Off: While a consultant through Insight Global, the hours you work are they hours you will be paid. We do not offer paid sick days, paid time off, or paid holidays, except as required by applicable law.Consultant Benefits: Group Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, and Flexible Spending Account benefit plans. New hires have 30 days from their start date to elect in benefits, which are effective on day 31 of employment.
