Meet's top Healthcare Communications client, a full-service, privately-held, NYC based agency is actively seeking a seasoned Director of Resource Management to join their ever-growing team! After a successful 2023, they are off the mark already in 2024 and looking for a detail oriented Director of Resource Management to join and play a pivotal part of their continued growth. As the Director of Resource Management, you'll be at the core of a dynamic environment, collaborating closely with client leads, talent, and finance to ensure appropriate allocation of talent resources to projects. Your role involves balancing workloads and adjusting assignments as needed, while also resolving resource conflicts among stakeholders. Interested, apply below or reach out directly for more details! Key Responsibilities:Foster strong relationships with assigned businesses, HR, Finance leaders, and vendors.Conduct regular check-ins with key stakeholders for real-time adjustments.Assist in assigning team members to projects based on business needs and individual skills and aspirations.Build rapport with staff to optimize assignments and engagement.Identify areas for staff improvement and communicate to managers and HR for support.Ensure teams have necessary resources for project delivery; address any issues with leadership.Monitor workload to maintain high client service and project efficiency.Balance workload across teams and freelance staff; address talent underutilization or excessive workload.Proactively address future talent needs based on new business pipeline and client growth.Manage freelance and hourly staff allocations in collaboration with clientteam leads, HR, and Finance.Facilitate solutions for out-of-office coverage and mediate resourcing conflicts.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.Collaborate with recruiting team on full-time and hourlyfreelance recruitment needs.Assist in shaping resource management tools and systems; continuously improve processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in creative, consulting, or marketing organizations.Experience in resource or project management within project-based environments.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.Expertise in spreadsheet tools and MS Office.Familiarity with resourcing and project management tools.Proven track record of implementing best practices in resource management.Please email Kristyn Coldewey at to learn more about this opportunity!
