Role Summary: The analytics team is responsible for enabling data driven decisions throughout the marketing organization. As a member of the analytics team, you will be expected to be a subject matter expert in all things data, particularly around customers, their interactions with Saks, the products they purchase and the machine learning models that predict customer's interest in this role, you will be part of a team that leverages data science outcomes to drive automated personalization across owned media channels, test ideas within email marketing campaigns and measure results. You will be responsible for supporting your team with ensuring stable program performance including management of production use cases and issue resolution.Personalized marketing is an always on strategy and highly customer facing. To be successful in this role,you are someone who is highly motivated about driving operational excellence, identifying ways to stabilize production pipelines and have high attention to this role, you will play a crucial role in the monitoring and optimization of automated personalization programs. You'll act as the operational owner of our home-grown EmailSMSAPP trigger programs, vigilantly alerting stakeholders to issues and ensuring that production SLAs are consistently met. Your prime objective is to drive operational excellence.You will represent the interests of Saks customers in cross-functional teams, working closely with data engineers, data scientists, and the MLops team to merge model insights with our operations, thus boosting customer engagement and expanding our capabilities.The ideal candidate excels in meeting high standards and navigates effectively among diverse internal teams. With your proficiency in SQL and Python, you will use advanced analytics and data science in marketing, eagerly adopting new technologies to enhance and automate marketing efforts.Key Responsibilities:Manage the CRM & Personalization initiatives, being on-call to respond to urgent alerting and monitoring needs.Design, execute, and evaluate AB tests for various marketing campaigns to meet operational KPIs.Serve as the operational expert behind Saks' personalization program architecture.Collaborate with data science and MLOps team to integrate ML models and algorithms intocustomer-facing marketing campaignsWork with MLops and Data engineers to improve the efficiency of automated marketing campaignsDevelop and launch new personalization campaigns in alignment with business requirements,ensuring they are scalable and efficiently integrated into existing systems.Undertake ad-hoc analytics tasks to provide stakeholders with insights for decision-making.Stay abreast of new technologies and methodologies to continually enhance operationalprocessesKey Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field like Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a businessdiscipline such as Marketing or Finance. An advanced degree is a plus.1~2 years of experience in marketing analytics or data science with a pronounced operationalemphasis.Experience managing large datasets.Proficiency in SQL, PythonPyspark, and familiarity with Airflow, Snowflake, GitHub, among othertechnologies.Demonstrated a history of contributing to operational improvements.
