The position would lead the Greenville structural engineering office, and would involve producing structural designs, analysis, and permit documents for a variety of building types, including multifamily residential, podium, institutional, and manufacturing facilities. This position reports to the structural department manager.If you have engineering experience, a passion for excellence, a take-charge attitude, and the desire to join a consulting engineering firm with an outstanding reputation, send us your resume today.The Branch Structural Department Manager is responsible for:Working with the structural team to deliver engineering solutions and construction documents on multiple projects, on budget and on scheduleLeading the firm's post-tension structural design services, including sealing related construction documentsCoordinating structural team activities necessary to complete projects, including supervising and checking the work of structural designers and sub-consultantsDesigning structural systems for multi-family, commercial, institutional, and manufacturing facilities.Managing client projects as they pertain to structural workCoordinating technical project requirements with project team members, including clients, project managers, designers, and engineers, as well as other disciplinesQualifications:Minimum 5 years' engineering experienceB.S. degree in civil, structural, or related field of engineeringProfessional Engineering licensure required, with ability to become licensed in multiple statesStructural Engineering (SE) licensure preferredExperience with a variety of structural systems including steel, concrete, wood, and masonryPost-tension and podium design experience requiredHigh-rise design experience preferredProven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT preferredStrong computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
