Job Description:

We have been retained to assist our client, a multi-generational specialty product manufacturer, with a Vice President of Supply Chain search near Cleveland, OH. This executive will be responsible for providing the strategic direction for the company's production planning, engaging in supplier relationships, and implementing changes to accommodate their growing sales volume. This includes ensuring on-time shipments, accurate forecasting, and customer satisfaction.Responsibilities:Responsible for receiving, storage, all movement and security of the inbound and outbound inventoryLead and work hand-in-hand with the supply chain team to develop and implement programs that will help manage the organization's sales growthEngage and negotiate with overseas contract manufacturing suppliersAnalyze key performance metrics to ensure proper on-time delivery is met with increased production volume Improve departmental performance measures through the use and interpretation of continuous improvement tools and process changesManage resources, making real-time adjustments when needed, to optimize equipment, facilities, employees, methods, and materialsRequirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience10+ years of experience at an operational level related to supply chain managementExperience with overseas manufacturing suppliersMust be able to travel outside of the USAdditional Information:All information will be kept strictly confidentialApplications will not be considered without a ResumeCurriculum Vitae which includes contact information
