Litigation Paralegal - Public Advocacy with Corporate Perks!A national plaintiff's law firm with a focus on public advocacy has partnered with Staffing Technologies in their search for a Litigation Paralegal. With a national footprint and a mission driven culture coupled with generous benefits this will be an excellent opportunity to support the plaintiff in holding corporations accountable for misconduct.As a Litigation Paralegal you'll partner with attorneys and their teams by performing client meetings, legal drafting, and other relevant legal activities in preparation for trials. We are looking for an energetic, driven, and detail-oriented individual for this on-site position. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Assist attorneys in all phases of litigation from onset through trial;Draft pleadings, correspondence, authorizations, interrogatories, transmittal letters, and other legal documents;File summonses and complaints, and work with vendors to effectuate service;Prepare discovery requests and responses;Coordinate and schedule depositions;Track and monitor client files, calendars, and provide status updates;Perform extensive internal and on-line legal research (court rules and procedures);Assist with trial preparation, including trial binders, exhibits, coordinate with experts, opposing counsel, and court staff.Skills Desired:Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment (time and content sensitive deadlines);Highly organized;Strong computer and procedural skills;Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills;Detail oriented with the ability to analyze and problem solve;Must be able to work independently and as part of a team to establish and foster working relationships with litigation attorneys, investigators, paralegals, and legal assistants.Preferred Experience:3 ~~@~~ years of experience, preferably with product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice plaintiff litigationParalegal degree or certificate.
