This is a great role for anyone with an accounting background seeking a more core analyst role.We're in search of a Senior Fund Analyst Fund Administration Team Leader based in Nashville, TN, to join our client's Accounting Team within Global Fund Administration. The chosen individual will be under the supervision of an Accounting Manager. As the Fund Administration Team Lead, you'll collaborate with the Accounting Manager to offer direction and support to the team. Moreover, you'll aid in establishing procedures aimed at delivering top-tier service quality.ResponsibilitiesProvide on-the-job training and coach new hires, contributing to the development of Fund Administration Analysts within the team.Assist the Accounting Manager in resolving complex issues and problems that arise.Undertake special projects as required by the team or management.Conduct high-level reviews of Shareholder Reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.Coordinate the audit process and follow up on any audit issues that may arise.Review fund and potential shareholder-level tax information for accuracy and compliance.Review fund distribution calculations to ensure correctness.Help maintain proper workflow within the team to ensure efficient operations.Act as a temporary fill-in for the Manager during their absence.Provide recommendations and actively participate in implementing changes and enhancements to the department's processes and procedures.Contribute to process improvements aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner to maintain excellent client relations.Qualifications5 years of experience in the mutual fund or finance industry4-year degree in a business field (preferably accounting or finance-related).Sturdy knowledge of mutual fund accounting.Knowledge of tax issues, SEC regulations, financial reporting, and the use of spreadsheets.Excellent analytical skills, communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in standard desktop applications (excel, word, outlook, etc).Knowledge of RIC reporting requirements, financial reporting experiences and any alternative product knowledge is a plus.Don't hesitate to apply if you feel you may not check every single box, it is never a waste to reach out!
