Job Description:

Responsibilities:Assist in the implementation and enforcement of safety programs and policies.Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure compliance.Coordinate safety training sessions and ensure all personnel are adequately trained.Assist in the investigation of incidents and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.Monitor subcontractors' adherence to safety regulations and company standards.Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities.Support the Safety Manager in promoting a culture of safety throughout the municate safety requirements and updates to project teams and subcontractors.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field preferred.2+ years of experience in construction safety coordination or related role.Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, DOT).Strong organizational and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Relevant certifications in safety (e.g., OSHA 30-hour, First AidCPR).Experience with safety management software and systems.Understanding of highway construction processes and equipment.Perm $65 - $85k + company vehicle
