Electrical Engineer-Power A-T-S seeks a highly motivated Electrical Engineer-Power to join us and at times act as staff augmentation with our clients.  We are looking for a team player who would be working collaboratively with designers, project managers and staff augmentation on energy infrastructure projects. What Pay Range Is Negotiable for the right candidate with the right qualifications Who We Are Applied Technology & Science (A-T-S) is an integrated environmentalengineeringtechnology consulting firm focused on energy and water delivery infrastructure through management of the natural resources, construction management, technology development and data sciences.  Who Our Clients Are Public, Private and Not-for-Profit sectors. Who You Are You Have: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.  Experience as (10-15 years of experience or a bit more) as their needs have shifted towards more advisory on multiple projects vs manager. Worked as a consultant on power projects, Or, Worked or Working for a Power Company with Experience in NEC, NESC, NERCWECC, PG&E Greenbook and Transmission Interconnection Handbook, and IEEE standards. Experience working in a team collaboratively.   Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle. Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline. Fluent with MS Office Suite desktop and cloud. Excellent communications skills.  Thorough understanding of project objectives and ability to effectively communicate.  What You Will Do For A-T-S Potential duties would vary by project, but could include: Function as the assistant project engineer to lead in the development of planning, design bid & award, and construction documents, including Need Assessment Report (NAR), Alternative Analysis Report (AAR) and Conceptual Design Report (CER). The content of the reports is to be generated by other consultants. Review and provide technical oversight and feedback for electrical design documents, including, but not limited to, drawings, specifications, calculations, schedules, and cost estimates. Conduct field visits to support clients in acquiring data from the field.  Back-check design deliverables to ensure incorporation of review comments. Ensure that all design work is completed in accordance with Procedures and applicable codes and standards. Research and interpretation of variety of standards, including, but not limited to the NEC, NESC, NERCWECC, PG&E Greenbook and Transmission Interconnection Handbook, and IEEE standards. Research and interpretation of facility as-builts and reference drawings. Prepare detailed written summaries of meetings led by the Project Engineer. In the absence of the Project Engineer, lead regularly scheduled design team meetings and provide detailed written summaries. Coordinate with design engineers (including consultants) and follow up to ensure that outstanding technical issues are resolved in a timely manner. Review technical and administrative documents prepared by Project Engineer. Prepare engineering design schedules. Maintain network drive project folder. Review construction submittals, including but not limited to, cut sheets, studies, calculations, test plans, test reports, and O&M manuals for general conformance to contract requirements (detailed review will be performed by design engineers). Assemble design deliverables packages for review and distribution. Distribute design deliverables, submittals, and RFIs for review. Prepare and conduct milestone presentations to the operation group and engineering managers.  Prepare task orders to hire as-needed consultants to provide engineering services needed for various projects' planning, design, and construction phases.  Assist Project Engineer as required for those tasks defined as Project Engineer responsibilities in the Infrastructure Division Procedures. Review drawings in AutoCAD format. Attend factory acceptance tests (FAT)
