Our client in Granbury, Texas has an immediate need for a Family Law Paralegal on a direct hire basis. Company Profile:Legal IndustryTenured TeamSmall Faith Based Firm Family Law Paralegal Role:The Family Law Paralegal will be assisting the managing partner with various aspects of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, adoption, and domestic violence matters. Conduct legal research on relevant laws, statutes, and case precedents.Draft legal documents, including petitions, complaints, motions, and affidavits.Assist with the discovery process by gathering and organizing relevant documents and preparing discovery municate with clients to gather information, provide case updates, and address their concerns.Prepare clients for court appearances, hearings, and depositions.File documents with the court and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures.Manage case files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and maintaining accurate records.Coordinate with attorneys and other legal professionals to facilitate the progress of cases.Conduct legal intake interviews with potential clients and assess the viability of their cases.Assist with trial preparation, including preparing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.Family Law Paralegal Profile:Working knowledge of legal language and Documents as wellMust be proficient in Microsoft word, ExcelKnowledge of Legal software and Sage Timeslips a plus ProDoc experience a plus At Least 5 years of experience in a Family LawBe able to execute documents with accuracy and in a timely mannerAble to multitaskHigh attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to plan, organize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentMust have excellent verbal and written communication skills Features and Benefits of Client:PTO, Holiday Pay Frontline Source Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
