Revology Cars is hiring a Buyer at the Orlando facility where we build new Ford-licensed reproduction 1965-68 Mustang and Shelby GT automobiles. ABOUT THE JOBThe Buyer works with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-quality purchased materials, components, and services required to support Revology's automotive production process. Key responsibilities include:Manage existing suppliers of direct and indirect production components, raw materials, general supplies, subcontract items, and outsourced services.Work closely with engineering, production, and other cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate and select new suppliers.Identify opportunities to reduce purchased materials cost in new and existing products.Negotiate supplier agreements on behalf of the company that optimize price, quality, availability, and favorable commercial terms and conditions.Actively manage the internal requisition to purchase order process and diligently follow-up delivery of supplier open orders.Troubleshoot supplier invoicing errors and work with purchasing and accounting teams to address root cause and prevent future invoice discrepancies.Assist with developing and maintaining robust purchasing policies and procedures.ABOUT REVOLOGY CARSWe are the first company ever licensed by Ford Motor Company to build a new reproduction Ford automobile and are presently the only company in the world licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction 1960s Mustang.We are the leading global manufacturer of licensed 1960s Shelby GT automobiles.We are growing rapidly and able to provide excellent advancement opportunities for qualified team members.REQUIREMENTSAssociate or Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or engineering.PurchasingSupply Chain certification a plus (CPIM, CPSM)Five or more years of purchasing experience with an automotive OEM, tier-one supplier, automotive aftermarket, or aviationaerospace manufacturing organization. Direct material buying experience across multiple categories and commodities. Automotive component parts purchasing a plus. Indirect purchasing experience across a broad range of MRO products and services. Demonstrated negotiation skills with the ability to drive cost savings and favorable terms.Solid understanding of procurement best practices, policies, and procedures.Excellent verbal and written English skills.Outstanding attention to detail and follow-up capabilities.Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and experienced with ERP system functionality.
