We are contrarian investors with a focus on downside protection and seek superior risk-adjusted returns in both equity and credit investments. We identify unique investment opportunities by leveraging our extensive network, and we also create value through our hands-on approach to asset management.Tryperion has been very active relative to other market participants recently. Because of our value- oriented approach to real estate investing, we are generally able to find and execute on interesting opportunities in all market environments. We are currently underwriting and executing on many credit- oriented deals (preferred equitymezzparticipating preferred) and are in the process of raising a $300 million credit-oriented fund with the flexibility to also invest in common equity.Tryperion generated a 17% IRR and 1.7x MOIC, net, in its first two funds ('13 and '15 vintage). Its third fund is marked at 16% and 1.3x, net ('18 vintage). We are currently mid-fundraise for a $300 million fourth fund, and simultaneously deploying capital. Our track record - and future performance - is the foundation upon which we anticipate building a world-class investment management firm. Responsibilities:·      Perform financial analyses to evaluate potential real estate investment opportunities, including cash flow projections, sensitivity analyses, and investment return metrics.·      Develop and maintain Excel and Argus-based financial models to underwrite real estate acquisitions and dispositions and to support asset management efforts·      Underwrite potential deals, conduct due diligence and market research·      Prepare investment memoranda and presentation materials to communicate investment recommendations and findings·      Monitor market trends, industry developments, and macro factors to identify emerging investment opportunities and mitigate potential risks.·      Contribute to asset management responsibilities, including performance tracking, variance analysis, and reporting.Qualifications:·      Bachelor's degree in finance, real estate, economics, or a related field.·      1+ years of experience within investment banking, real estate investment, or real estate asset management. Prior real estate experience not required if you have an investment banking background.·      Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to efficiently build complex financial models from scratch.
