Job Description:

One of Wripple's clients is looking for a DAM Librarian to focus on the maintenance and implementation of the governance strategy for all digital media assets that are in client's DAM system, MediaValet. This position works closely with many teams across multiple business lines to ensure the integrity of applied metadata on assets intended for upload into the Digital Asset Management (DAM) platform. This role is also responsible for the application of security measures to ensure asset confidentiality. While this position is based in Orlando, travel to other client destinations (Los Angeles) may be required.This role is full-time contract (up to 40 hrsweek) starting ASAP with the potential to convert. Must be willing to work normal business hours (8:30am - 5:30pm ET or 9am - 6pm ET). This is a hybrid role to come onsite for meetings in the Orlando, Florida office.Responsibilities:Applies appropriate metadata to creative assets including but not limited to keywording, naming convention, tracking data related to usage rights, including custom attributesProvides management over asset lifecyclesManage from upload through sunsetProvide maintenance of the media on which assets reside. This will include but is not limited to maintaining storage hardware and digital cloud-based toolsEnsure assets of all types, including raw assets, are shepherded through their storage lifecyclesProvides search services to DAM system users. This includes keeping up to date on the tools, hardware, and media used in the DAM industryEnsures that assets are preserved and accessible by the library user groups. This includes, but is not limited to, application of robust, searchable metadata and application of industry standard backup best practicesAs needed and on a regular cadence, develops and delivers user training to ensure users understand the library tools employed and provision of user education about usage of filterable termsActively participates in all Agile ceremonies with teamUnderstands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activitiesPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:3-5 years of working with a Digital Asset Management (DAM) or Media Asset Management (MAM) system or equivalent combination of education and work experienceStrong understanding of asset lifecycles in a marketing and sales environment, postproduction workflow experience, metadata application workflows, knowledge of asset backup best practices, and DAM or MAM platform experienceAn aptitude for fundamental communication skills and a demonstrated "team player" attitude to support the ensuring of team cohesiveness and consistency in product deliverables of all typesAn aptitude for negotiation, analysis, problem-solving, decision-making and time management skillsDemonstrated basic understanding of business process in generalEffective communication skills with an aptitude and willingness to learn and to adapt communication approaches to audiences at all levels of the organization, translating for both technical and non-technical audiencesProven basic computerdigital knowledge aptitude and willingness to advance this aptitudeAbility to interact with customers, as directed, in a sensitive and diplomatic manner, maintaining positive relationships while gathering basic and intermediate requirements related to the customer needs and project workSolid analytical skillsSolid attention to detail with a logical approach to problem solvingExcellent fundamental written and verbal communication skillsAbility to learn to multi-task and work on increasing numbers of related projects at one timeAbility to coordinate with users experiencing platform issues and to address basic help ticketsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, but better-than-basic knowledge of using word processing software and mail software in generalPreferred Qualifications:Preferred bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent work experienceWorking experience in asset creation tools, such as Adobe CC programsABOUT WRIPPLE:Wripple is the first Agency Services Platform that connects clients with independent talent to create teams that thrive in an on-demand world.
