Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlaceYour role at Clorox:As a member of the Hidden Valley Reno Plant leadership team, the plant Safety, Health & Environmental (EHS) Manager will influence and drive development, implementation, and sustainability of a comprehensive safety, health and environmental compliant and "Zero Loss" this role, you will:Drive safety process improvement projects and programs focused on reducing at-risk conditions and behaviors while working to build a "Zero Loss" safety culture Support and lead development of plant SH&E strategy Lead safety culture change, focusing on mindsets, behaviors and capabilities Raise the level of hazard awareness and lower risk tolerance across the plant Engage everyone on an emotional as well as rational level. Be viewed by customers as providing support and solutions to SH&E needs Lead SH&E team and committee Provide mentoring and coaching to leadership, technical support, and operating teams to drive safe decisions at the floor level. Drive application of best practices Lead SH&E educationawareness through training, development, and communication to drive compliance to national, state and local regulatory requirements Facilitatemanage safety improvement through use of improvement methodology tools Develop and train assigned group or plant SH&E leads, ensuring they have the regulatory and technical knowledge and ability to provide day to day SH&E support Partner with corporate SH&E team to make sure plant fully implements Clorox SH&E standards and to obtain support for plant SH&E needs Engage local human resources on work-related injuriesworker's compensation claims Achieve "World class" SH&E results at Reno, making sure plant results are at or better than goal, thru effective communications and process adherence, including injuries, notices of violation, spills, and environmental incidents and effective reporting with risk reduction follow-up to prevent recurrence What we look for:Over 5 years of experience leading safety or EHS departments in manufacturing.Establish and track metrics to support SH&E goals achievement.Conduct on-site assessments, ensuring compliance and addressing non-compliance.Develop and execute Zero Waste to Landfill strategy.Manage INTELEX SH&E system, promoting usage across sites.Implement processes for plant-wide safety.Lead safety incident investigations and root cause analyses.Ensure compliance with OSHA and company standards.Serve as point of contact for safety and environmental inspectors.Timely completion of environmental regulatory reporting.Workplace type:This position requires a fully onsite work modelWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
