JOB SUMMARY: The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of all safety, health, and environmental initiatives within Brothers Desserts' facilities. The individual will ensure that the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement in the area of EHS. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop, implement, and maintain safety and environmental policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal rules and regulations.Ensure the facility maintains an up-to-date emergency response plan and lead emergency response efforts.Develop and implement EHS training programs for all employees and lead our safety committee.Conduct regular safety orientations and refresher trainings.Perform routine safety and environmental inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.Oversee the disposal of waste and manage recycling programs, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Act as the primary contact for regulatory inspections and maintain necessary permits and vestigate workplace incidents and near misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective actions.Maintain accurate records of all workplace injuries and illnesses.Drive initiatives to reduce the company's environmental footprint, including resource conservation and waste reduction projects.Keep up-to-date with industry best practices, changes in regulations, and emerging trends in EHS.Work closely with production, maintenance, and quality control teams to embed EHS considerations in all facets of operations.Coordinate with external stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and local communities, to promote EHS best practices. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education:Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.Minimum of 5 years' experience in EHS roles, preferably within the food manufacturing prehensive understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are a plus.Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and leadership skills.Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines. Experience: 3 years of Safety experience 5 years of Food Manufacturing experience.
