Job Description:

Growing injection molding manufacturer in the Gastonia area looking to add an experienced process engineer to the team! We are looking for engineers with 6+ years of experience in the plastics injection molding industry. Key Responsibilities:Install and start-up new injection molding machines.Lead testing activities for new molds and equipment.Ensure manufacturability of new products. Provide tooling capability input to our New Product Development Team.Participate in Mold Design Reviews and equipment selection with external suppliers.Train incoming associates on additional disciplines as they're added to the facility.Conduct process validation studies, ensure process repeatability and product quality capability.Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, reduce scrap, etc.Provide technical support to the production and maintenance teams, via troubleshooting or process improvement suggestions. Collaborate with Maintenance, Process Technicians, and other cross-functional teams to accomplish goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline (Plastics, Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering, etc.), or equivalent experience.RJG Master Molder preferred.Project Management Experience.Minimum of 6 years of experience injection molding (PEPET)Comfortable with Solid Works.Proficient understanding of Mold building and tooling.Robot (Wittmann, Yushin, Viper, etc.) experience preferred.Familiarity with manufacturing standards for cosmeticsfood & beveragepharmaceutical manufacturing.
