Critical Job Functions:Develop territory growth strategy to include growth within existing customers and new prospectsDaily travel throughout assigned territory to conduct customer meetingsNegotiate pricing with customers and work collaboratively with pricing department to finalizeMaintain contact with key accounts and new customers to ensure we are exceeding service levels and high level of customer satisfaction.Monitor customer trends and operating performance, identify opportunities, develop strategy and proactively communicate with service center personnel and customerAchieve territory sales targets to include revenue growth, operating performance and key activity metricsEnsure all key customer information is captured in CRM tool to include all customer contacts, current level of business and account strategyJob Requirements:Bachelor's degree or 4 years of related work experience2+ years in B2B (Business to Business) sales or equivalentCompetitive nature with a hunter mentality and a strong desire to winExperience with Microsoft Office and CRM systemLocal travel 80% with some flexibility to work evenings and weekends as neededRoadrunner Freight is building something special with great people, a winning culture and a differentiated service offering in the marketplace.
