Medical Billing Representative II & IIIThe Staff Pad has partnered with a community health center outside of Tucson, Arizona. We are seeking a Medical Billing Representative II to join our client's organization that has been recognized as a "National Quality Leader" by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Assist in the processing of all insurance claims via electronichardcopy in a timely manner. Prints daily reports, verifying chargepayment entry, balancing at day end. Post batch on a daily basis, logging, as appropriate. Initiates and answers telephone, screens calls, takes messages and provides information as needed. Assist Patient Accounts Specialist when necessary. RequirementsGraduate of a Medical Billing and Coding program is preferred.Bi-lingual in EnglishSpanish is preferred. High School Diploma or Equivalent. Knowledge of medical billing practices and clinic policies and procedures. Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT and HCPCS coding. Knowledge of insurance company operating procedures.
