Lamex Agrifoods is a division of Lamex Foods, specializing in the growing, processing, importingexporting of frozen fruit, vegetables, juices, and purees.We are currently seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team and oversee the import of our frozen goods into the United States.Summary of Position:As our Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our logistics operations, including coordinating with suppliers, arranging transportation and shipping, managing inventory, and ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met. You will work closely with our sales and purchasing teams to ensure that our supply chain is optimized and that we are able to meet the needs of our customers.Responsibilities:Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of productsArrange transportation and shipping of goodsManage inventory levels to ensure adequate supply and minimize financial lossEnsure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including customs and FDA regulationsCommunicate with sales and purchasing teams to optimize supply chain efficiencyMonitor and track shipments to ensure on-time deliveryResolve any logistics-related issues or problems that ariseDevelop and maintain relationships with suppliers, transportation providers, and other partnersRequirements:Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferredAt least 2 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in the food industryKnowledge of customs and FDA regulations for importing frozen food products into the United StatesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics software systemsExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience working with international suppliers and transportation providersAt Lamex Agrifoods, Inc., we value innovation, integrity, and teamwork.
