Department: Sales Shift: DaytimePosition: Account ExecutiveOutside SalesLocations: Multiple Locations"”West Coast, United StatesSummary: Jim's Supply Company, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an account executiveoutside sales representative for our agricultural supply division. This position offers an excellent compensation and benefits package. The ideal candidate will be responsible for soliciting orders and contracts from industrial establishments and other end users for various steel, metal, and vineyard products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads from various sources, including newspapers, business directories, industry advertisements, trade shows, and online platforms. Conduct in-person visits and telephone communication with customers to solicit orders. Collaborate with the manager to prepare responses to bids and negotiate contracts with customers. Conduct cold calling to expand the customer base within the assigned territory. Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within customer businesses. Prepare reports of business transactions and maintain expense accounts. Forecast sales and gross profit. Attend sales meetings and the required training sessions. Foster a positive working relationship with internal customers and employees. Perform other duties as assigned. Education andor Experience: Candidates should hold a bachelor's degree in business, communication, agricultural business, or a related field, accompanied by a minimum of 1 year of proven success in outside sales experience. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of five years of experience in the vineyardtrellissteel industry in an outside sales capacity are also encouraged to apply.Skills and Abilities: The ideal candidate will possess strong presentation skills, be adept at both individual and group settings, and target customers, clients, and colleagues. They should exhibit exceptional verbal, written, and customer service abilities. Proficiency in mathematics, computer literacy, and experience with SAP or equivalent enterprisestore management software are essential. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is advantageous but not mandatory.Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: A valid driver's license with a driving record insurable by the company's standards, along with appropriate personal car insurance, is required.
