Job Description:

Rapid Removal, Inc. is a full-service demolition and construction services company that has been doing complete and selective demolition for over 15 years. We are seeking an experienced Demolition EstimatorProject Manager to join our team. This individual must be self-motivated, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as organizational skills. This position will require effective prioritization of bid opportunities, attention to detail, initiative and follow through to maximize customer relations and company growth. A minimum of 5 years' experience estimating andor managing construction projects is required. Field experience is a plus.The main responsibilities for this position will be to prepare estimates and oversee the management of demolition projects.Estimating Responsibilities: Review blueprints, specifications, ITBs, RFPs, and other documentation to prepare accurate take-offs and estimating costs for equipment, material and labor.Prepare comprehensive proposals.Attend walk throughs and make site visits to verify plans with existing site conditions.Review plans, specifications and subcontractor proposals for completeness and inconsistencies.Read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work and project schedules.Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) as required.Manage RFIs, Addendums and Notifications during bid process.Knowledge of construction, trades, vendors, and equipment needed to complete projects.Assist in preparing budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.Create, develop and maintain relationships with customers and manage business leads.Project Management Responsibilities: Work closely with Operations Management to ensure proper execution of awarded projects.Provide detailed notes and clarification of project scope and specifications, interpretation of drawings, methods of demolition, and equipment used to bid and understanding of site logistics, to Operations Management and field employees.Manage monthly project billing.Review and manage job costs on awarded projects.CoordinationManagement of sub-contractor and vendor scopesbids.
