We have an exciting opportunity for local wig makers to join our team in Orlando, Florida. We are currently seeking contract, part-time, and full-time wig builders for various projects, including hair shows, school, and in-house wig building and repairs. Starting at $58,240yr - $68,640yr for full-time for theatrical wig builders.The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a passion for the art of wig making. Please submit your resume, portfolio, and any relevant certifications or documentation of completion from a recognized wig making program.Minimum Qualifications:Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in ventilating (knotting) hair, with a strong portfolio in wig and facial hair design.Demonstrated skills in wig construction, styling, and maintenance.Proven ability to manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring client satisfaction.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client service.Preferred Qualifications:A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in wig making and stylingExpert knowledge of various wig-making techniques and materialsExcellent communication and teaching skillsAbility to work effectively with a diverse group of students and staffStrong organizational and time-management skillsA passion for teaching and mentoringFlexibility and willingness to adapt to changing needs and circumstancesLicensed master cosmetologist in the state of FloridaExperience with a wide range of hair and makeup effects, including prosthetics and special effects makeup.Proven track record of working successfully in a team-oriented environment.This is a contract, part-ime or full-time position with competitive salary and benefits.
