Headquartered in Spain, Profand's mission is to create a multinational company within the global fishing sector, processing and manufacturing the highest quality seafood under a fully integrated and sustainable model from extraction to sale, while also ensuring the highest safety and profitability.We are currently looking for an experienced Director of QA and Compliance to join our team.The successful candidate will oversee the general operations of the QA department. Is responsible to ensure that adequate resources are available to achieve food safety and to support the development, implementation, and maintenance and ongoing improvement of the facility and HACCP system. Responsibilities:Oversees the development, implementation, change, review, and maintenance of the food safety system.Coordinates and run all third party food safety inspections (State of MA, FDA, BRC, IFS, BAP...). Develops and Maintain FSMA.Arranges for lab testing and samples to go out; collect them and delivering them to the labs.Reviews food safety manuals and SOPs policies.Creating, setting, and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).Guiding, directing, and evaluating the work of QA management and team members.Responsible for all vendor, customer, and regulatory compliance. Reviews and approves on all HACCP and food safety related documentation. Approves all vendors for compliance to regulatory and 3rd party requirements.Arranges and represents the company for internal and external events (inspections, audits). Requirements:Bachelor's Master's Degree in Food Safety or similar. Languages: Bilingual in English and any other language, Spanish preferred.BRC, IFS, BAP.FSMA knowledge.ERP system knowledge: NAVBC.Experience:+10 years of experience as QA Manager Director.
