Our client is seeking a Director of Operational Safety Performance & Improvement to play a pivotal role in designing and leading programs to enhance safety culture and drive continual improvement in operational systems for rail passengers and employees.Key Responsibilities:Design and lead innovative safety programs tailored to evolving operational needsProvide regular updates on safety performance and improvements to executive leadershipOversee the implementation of Safety Programs and other initiativesTake ownership of special projects identified by the Executive teamFoster constructive working relationships with leadership and managementLead annual safety and environment engagement eventsSkills and Qualifications:Leadership experience in a rail organizationDegree in Safety or related fieldStrong understanding of safety culture and regulatory requirementsExperience in project management and negotiationExcellent communication skills at all organizational levelsProficiency in MS Office and other relevant softwarePreferred:PMP certificationExperience with MS Project, Comply 365, Power BI, MS Visio, Coruson, TRMSLocation: Boston, USCompensation: $160k - $180k depending on experience, up to 10% bonus and generous benefits package.
