This position is responsible for operational and sales leadership within the PA and WV Service Groups. It requires theability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment to ensure the highest quality of customer service is provided at all levels from sales, maintenanceproject execution, and continued support. It also requires travel to branch office locations, job sites, and customer facilities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Provides overall leadership for the PA and WV Service Groups. Manages goals and ensuresdepartment and company goals align.• Responsible for implementing programs designed to meet or exceed corporate objectives inthe areas of revenue, sales, margin, and operating income.• Responsible for managing the service operations according to an approved financial plan, which includes operating expenses, accounts receivablecollections, manpower, and inventory.• Responsible to seek outcomplete bidsales opportunities through client relationships, network opportunities, publicprivate postings, assigned bid opportunities, etc.• Supports and directs employees on safety practices and hazard communication in bidding processes (pre-bid meetings, hazard assessments, etc.).• Works to ensure all aspects of serviceproject work are met safely, onunder budget and on time.• Monitors progress towards annual goals and adjusts execution.• Ensures contractual obligations are met and actively participates in quickly resolving customer problems.• Plans a growth strategy and carries it out efficiently and effectively.• Provides supervision and leadership to the department by providing guidance in several areas including: mentoring and coaching, individual development plans, setting goals and priorities for individuals.• Ensures that effective performance measures are assigned, and that employees are motivated to achieve and exceed objectives in a professional, timely, and quality manner.• Organizes and develops an effective team to efficiently deliver service and to grow the business.• Responsible for finding quality individuals who possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience required for any open jobs.• Identifies areas where training and development will enhance the opportunity to meet current and future business needs.• Determines and implements opportunities for margin enhancement and manages department budget.• Develops growth strategies for the department with the President and CEO. Drives expansion of sales and customer base.• Remains aware of the competition in the marketplace and is ready to react accordingly to changes.• Aids and assists in preparation of estimatesproposals, supporting and mentoring direct reports or other employees as needed.• Report on WIP (work in progressforecasting) statistics at monthly financial meetings.• Promotes a team atmosphere and builds loyalty for the company• Develop and maintain good working relations ships with current clients; responsible for creating relationships with potential future clients.• Oversees Service Managers, Sales Representatives, and provides guidance for field operations.Qualifications:• High school diploma or trade school certificate is a must. A Bachelor of Science in management or mechanical engineering a plus.• A minimum of five (5) years of practical facility management and operations experience in the Mechanical Industry is required.• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a maintenance administrative capacity, to include preventive maintenance and plant operation procedures, manpower utilization, energy management and conservation and contract management, is highly desirable.• Ability to work with management systems and a variety of professional, administrative and industry personnel.• Previous sales experience a plus.• Knowledge of industry standard practices for preventive maintenance is required.• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.• Must be organized, detailed and able to prioritize tasks.• Ability to adapt to ever changing priorities.Please note: Job description, summary, requirements, responsibilities, and general functions are subject to change as required.
