Develops overall design for projectDirects staff to complete design and technical drawingReviews design and technical drawing of other more junior designersReview of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solutionWorks with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawingsResearches and selects fixtures and finishes to use for projectsObtain client approval and ensure integration into overall designProduces, reviews and finalizes space plans for projectsDevelops and delivers overall design and furniture packagesReviews and produces final cost estimatesManages overall design budgetManages the work of other DesignersQualifications:Graduate of architecture or design school: equivalent experience may be substituted8+ years' experience in corporate interiorworkplace design projectsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Extensive knowledge of design principles and aestheticsExtensive knowledge of space planning methodologyExtensive knowledge of furnishings and finishesExpert sketching and rendering skillsExtensive knowledge of CDs and proceduresExtensive knowledge of building systems, codes and ADA requirementsExtensive knowledge of contract administrationAdvanced Revit skillsAdvanced Adobe Creative Suite skillsInterior Architects, Inc.
