About the JobAs an Integration and Installation Technician, your responsibilities encompass seamlessly integrating our products into diverse environments, such as Oil and Gas and Mining, while ensuring smooth installations. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to grasp technical specifications and requirements. Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role as a liaison between our engineering team and customers, ensuring effective communication of any changes or updates to the installation process to the Integration Coordinators. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving project needs.Key Responsibilities:Align with and uphold the EKU strategy and mission.Conduct inspections of circuit breakers, boards, and other electrical components.Take charge of installation and deployment preparation.Collaborate with team leads and I&I Coordinators to plan and forecast installations for each team.Play a significant role in the development and transfer of projects from integration to installation.Remain adaptable to customer requirements and preferences.Take ownership of enhancing customer support and stay informed about internal support processes.Collaborate closely with the customer service team to address current support needs and facilitate customer networking.Facilitate communication among technicians, aiding in technical translations as needed.Lead by example in adhering to safety practices and policies.Perform routine maintenance and other duties in a dynamic environment.Preferred Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Two (2) years of experience in Oil and Gas, Mining, or Automotive industries with component installations, preferred.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.Experience with tools such as JIRAConfluence, MattermostJitsi, Odoo, CANoeCANape, and Microsoft Office highly preferred but not mandatory.Proficient with hand tools, electrical tools, meters, etc.Basic knowledge and understanding of electrical and mechanical schematics.Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment such as Cummins Insite andor CAT ET, highly preferred but not mandatory.Background in heavy equipment, either as a diesel mechanic or with diesel engine expertise.Ability to identify and rectify defects in automotive electrical systems.Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Working schedule:Monday - Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm)This position includes regular travel depending on the customer's needs.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Able to read, speak, and write proficiently in English.Able to perform duties safely.Able to maintain a professional appearance and provide friendly customer service.Demonstrate time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.Knowledge of principles for providing strong customer satisfaction.Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to stand for long periods, sit, bend, climb, and lift items to 40 lbs.Strong communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Basic computer skills.Dependable, reliable, and capable of completing all assigned responsibilities.Why EKU?Competitive salary.Dynamic work environment where no two days are the same.A supportive team that's as energetic as the solutions we provide.Opportunities for professional growth in a company that values innovation and talent.The satisfaction of playing a critical role in operations that keep the lights on and engines running across various sectors.30 days PTO
