Next Door Beach Bistro is a modern American French Bistro located in Flagler Beach. Voted #1 on Trip Advisor, Next Door has a 30 seat upscale bar that sells delicious craft cocktails in a busy environment.We are looking for an experienced hands on manager that can assist the bartenders when busy. In addition they will order and inventory all product, write bar schedules, manage the bar staff, and make sure the bar remains spotless and clean.Bar managers will be required to assist the management team with opening and closing the restaurant and overseeing day to day restaurant operations.All applicants should be hands on, positive, dependable, and a team pensation depends upon experience.Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service- Manage inventory control, including ordering and stocking of beverages and supplies- Create and implement strategies to maximize sales and profitability- Train and supervise bar staff, providing guidance and support as needed- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service operations- Develop and update drink menus, taking into account customer preferences and trendsSkills:- Strong bartending skills, including knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques- Experience in food service management, including knowledge of food handling and safety procedures- Excellent leadership abilities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage inventory, schedules, and budgets- Proficiency in using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment- Exceptional customer service skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor- Previous experience as an assistant manager or in a similar supervisory role is preferredNote: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
