**Position Title: Construction Superintendent****Salary Range: $120,000 - $140,000****Location:** Murrieta, California**Company Overview:** My client, a distinguished developer with over three decades of experience, has been at the forefront of numerous successful projects throughout Southern California. With a portfolio boasting over 18 projects and ongoing expansion, they specialize in multifamily and apartment developments. Currently, they are actively engaged in projects in the Murrieta area, ranging from 80 to 110 units, with an additional 19 projects across Southern California.**Role Overview:** The Construction Superintendent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, reporting directly to the VP of Construction. This position will oversee all construction activities at the project site, collaborating closely with the Construction Manager and VP of Construction to define scopes of work, manage budgets, and adhere to timelines.**Responsibilities:** - Coordinate all subcontractors and supervise day-to-day construction activities on site, including scheduling, inspections, quality control, and safety protocols.- Manage project budgets and ensure accountability for all related expenditures, working in tandem with the Construction Manager and VP of Construction.- Liaise with Project Management to facilitate utilities, permits, plan checks, and Certificates of Occupancy, obtaining necessary approvals.- Direct subcontractors and subordinate staff, providing guidance and support as needed.- Provide regular written reports and scheduling updates to the VP of Construction and other relevant stakeholders.- Demonstrate sound judgment in evaluating situations and making decisions independently, adhering to company policies and procedures.- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety requirements and SWPPP regulations, maintaining a safe and environmentally conscious work site.- Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating and resolving issues as they arise.**Requirements:** - Prior experience in multifamily or apartment project management is essential.- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate others.- Proven track record of managing construction projects within budget and on schedule.- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and SWPPP requirements.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and resolve conflicts effectively.- Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.- Willingness to attend company-sponsored events and occasional overnight stays as required.**Company Culture:** Our client fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment where employees are encouraged to innovate and grow.
