Established in 2013, Janessa Leoné offers hats and handbags which have become a favorite among celebrities and influencers.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Janessa Leoné store manager, you will be an ambassador of the brand and take ownership of the business, possessing the drive and capacity to achieve ambitious goals through your team. You will be strategically agile to drive strong sales results and ensure the highest level of client service is delivered. As a business leader, you will be responsible for providing market expertise in relation to client needs and developing strategies to maximize product performance. We are looking for a team leader with "entrepreneurial spirit" that has passion and ability to grow the retail vision.Based at Janessa Leone's flagship location, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the store and experience for our employees and customers, from planning to profit, management to merchandising, and everything in between. You will drive sales, category growth, customer care, virtual appointments, staff management, visual display, administration and inventory control. The Store Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the store and achieving sales goals whilst ensuring the team are engaged and that every customer receives an exceptional experience with our team and store.Janessa Leone team members are passionate, hardworking, optimistic, team players with a deep passion for beautiful design and customer service. As a lean team, we value a strong work ethic, the ability to collaborate and a depth of experience in our team members.WHAT YOU'LL DOMeet and exceed sales targets and key metrics for Janessa Leoné retail, providing monthly reports with qualitative and quantitative results and developing creative plans to address challenges when they arise.Recruit, train, manage and motivate a team of 2 - 5 passionate, ambitious employees that reflect the Janessa Leone brand and are passionate about our products and customers.Create and maintain a positive and diverse work environment Develop a superior, thoughtful, hands-on memorable experience from our customers from the moment they walk in the store until the leave, and after! Including in-store activations and events. Own the entire customer lifecycle for our retail customer, to drive repeat sales and to become loyal lifetime clients. Increase customer conversion and retention by fostering a culture of best in class customer experience and sales techniques to achieve sales targets and customer satisfaction goals.Maintain the Visual Merch standards to reflect the high quality and standards of our productPlan, lead and manage the daily operations to ensure the store is properly staffed and productive.  Ensure that all the processes are in compliance with legal, safety (OH&S), internal requirements and sustainabilityManage a shift and give the appropriate coachingfeedback and training to the team working that day.Proactively take on challenges, research information, troubleshoot problems and creatively deliver results.Own inventory and merchandising, partner with the Head of Operations Manager, to ensure the store is properly stocked at all times.You'll own our virtual and in-person stylist appointment, focused on increasing customer satisfaction, driving sales and customer retention especially among new customers.You'll attend weekly staff meetings with the Janessa Leone team, contribute ideas to revenue and marketing plans. Providing valuable feedback to help guide the direction of future collections, in-store activations and retail strategies.  Support retail expansion initiativesWHO YOU ARE You have a proven background in high-end retail with at least 3 years of experience managing a store and leading a team.People management skills gained within a high profile luxury or client-centric retail brandYou're a natural leader, you thoughtfully balance ambition and confidence with humility and teamwork. You have a high level of business acumen with the ability to analyze results, identify business trends and activate new solutions.You have experience with retail scheduling and inventory systems as well as retail policies and processes.You enjoy managing and mentoring people and see yourself as someone who is a good role model.You're passionate and knowledgeable about fashion and design.You have excellent communication skills, presence and personal style and can authentically represent the Janessa Leone brand and values You have an entrepreneurial spirit and bring passion, ambition and resourcefulness to everything you do. You get excited by new challenges and are used to working in environments where your creativity and hard work can shine.Your acute attention to detail and ability to stay on top of critical deadlines makes you a great manager and operator Your highly refined emotional intelligence and ability to connect and communicate with people of a wide range allows you to quickly engage customers and gain their trust You're performance driven and can motivate a team to hit goals and drive business results without sacrificing the engagement and satisfaction of your team members.Excellent under pressure and can adapt quickly in an ever-evolving environmentYour schedule allows for the flexibility required to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.DETAILS Job Type:  Full-time Schedule:  Flexible dayshours.
