Come work with our team of engineers that take enormous pride in delivering "World-Class Equipment to World-Class Customers!"Responsibilities:Develop part and assembly models in SolidWorks 3D CADDesign components to be manufactured using: sheet plastic routing and fusion welding, sheet metal bending and rolling, waterjet cutting, plate and tubing welding, CNC machining, and other processesCreate and revise production engineering drawings (assemblies, components, and layouts) that include multiple detailed views, on time and within budgetCollaborate with production personnel to understand and design within fabrication and assembly process requirements and for efficient manufacturing and assemblyCreate and release bills of materials for mechanical assembliesUtilize our SolidWorks Product Data Management system to maintain well organized file storage, revisions, and lifecycle management of CAD filesParticipate in Design ReviewsCheck drawings prepared by Engineers and other Designers to meet design best practicesRequirements:CAD certification andor two-year technical AA degree5 years work experienceAdvanced skill with SolidWorks CAD and PDMPortfolio of work that demonstrates 3D modeling capabilityStrong verbal and written communication skillsHighly motivated, accountable, and continuously improvingAbility to work well with others on a cross-functional teamPreferred:Plan and elevation system views in AutoCAD MechanicalPiping systems designPiping and Instrumentation DiagramsAdministration of Product Data Management systemsAdvanced SolidWorks design modules including frames, routing, sheet metal, and large assembliesStructural analysis using SolidWorks Simulation FEAGeometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5Electrical schematic creation in AutoCAD Electrical$30hr to $35hr plus overtime.
